Then don't flirt. [at least for now] Not until you feel comfortable doing so. It's better to just smile a lot and let him do the ';flirting.'; But you should make eye contact and smile. Nothing more. Do you think you can't meet his expectations? And maybe afraid he'll find out? Think you don't have enough ';personality'; to stand out? Don't try to be like everybody else. Shy people are a little mysterious, which is good. I still say, make the best of your good looks; make eye contact and learn to smile easily. Smile as tho everyone likes you. U can talk without looking him in the eye...but u should also get over the no eye contact thing...I think that talking on the phone is much easier...but u have to get the phone # first...hope this helps and good luck!

honey i was like you, low in confidence and i could of had two guys but i missed em because i didnt flirt, so just think would you rather just flirt or let someone else take him?
