You don't need to know someone to flirt! As he walks by, say to someone, ';There goes a handsome guy.'; If you have mutual friends, find out what he likes to see on females and then dress that way. There are a million ways to flirt. Playing with your hair as he comes into view is a classic female move.

These things may seem annoying.. but coming from a 26 year old who used to be real shy in high school... I think these things are cute, and it'll really get his attention.
